Mooskaser Saletalm in Schoenau am Koenigssee

I visited 2 times the family working there the are very friendly and very nice the price it's not expensive the speak Bayern accent or 🇦🇹 accent the dog the cows omg its really heaven place to visit

No hot food, no hot drinks (at least on the day we visited (27.09.20)) On top of that, the service was unfriendly and not very welcoming. Very disappointed Käseteller was really good though. View is nice too!

Ate delicious cheese bread ...

Awesome view a few meters off the main tourist path. The cottage seems old and is quite cosy. Yet it feels like a touristy place because prices are steep for some small pieces of bread (6€ per type). Also, staff wasn't particularly friendly, even to fellow citizens of the region. We weren't greeted back when we entered despite only 2 other people sitting at a table and business seemed slow. Check your manners.

They serve great dairy products, especially cheese and milk. The place is quiet and relatively remote from tourists You can relax there with the sound of cows and the sound of nature

A little away from the hustle and bustle in a rustic atmosphere. Beer only lukewarm as there was a small power connection

This place can also be reached quickly for non-hikers and offers a taste of alpine life in the true sense of the word. Cows greet you in a friendly way.

Very nice area.

The view is incredible, but staff was very rude to people visiting. At some point the lady was shouting to costumers because they were asking questions regarding what type of cheese she recommended to them. It was something like: “Why should I care, just order something you’re wasting my time” (yikes). Prices are basically the same as the other restaurant near the port, so I would strongly recommend the other restaurant.

I have been here 3 years ago. Wonderful place for a rest with happy meal. The couple or lover (maybe) who looking at each other which is my favorite moment.

Delicious Almbrot and cheese

Beautifully located a bit further away from the numerous tourists. Here you have your peace and can enjoy the great view. In addition a delicious ham bread with really great pickled gürkchen. So simple and yet so delicious. I can only recommend.

The short way is definitely worth it, there is not much, but that's a good thing, the food is delicious

Beautiful Alm for a snack in between

The place is very beautiful, the view stunning. Unfortunately, on a hot day after a day of hiking, they gave us a hot beer, saying they didn't have a fridge. And the lady was pretty uncomfortable that I had to marry him when she opened it. There is a lot of tourists and it is a tourist trap, although the landscape is beautiful.

This visit was worth it. Here is still man and nature.

This alp is worth a visit. With a large cup of delicious milk and a decent snack in the stomach, it's easy to hike or "put to sea" again

A pleasant break with the right to great local milk. An Alm on the edge of the Königsee and close to the dock. And with far fewer tourists ...

Beautifully situated alpine pasture, fast friendly service and a great snack. What more do you want? We were there at the beginning of August on a normal day of the week and the crowds were limited, probably because you have to take a little detour from the main route that most people go by. This detour is highly recommended.

Best choice in Salet. Place is not so commercial and more familiar than other two in Salet. They have great milk, buttermilk and bread with cheese. They had milk even the others haven't.
